Baylor University Law School. Texas A&M University, B.B.A. in Accounting and Finance. Certified Public Accountant. Worked as a public accounting auditor for the international CPA firm of Coopers & Lybrand and as an internal forensic auditor for the international consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton. Served on the Baylor Law Review. Clerked for the late Honorable U.S. District Judge William M. Steger in Tyler, Texas. Served as a state felony prosecutor. Admitted to practice before all four federal districts in Texas and the Fifth Circuit. Served in the U.S. Army Reserve, Judge Advocate General’s Corps, with rank of Lieutenant Colonel. 2017 graduate of the Army War College, with a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies. Belong to the International Bar Association (Insolvency Section), American Institute of CPAs, Texas Society of CPAs, Dallas Bar Association, Smith County Bar Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and Rotary International.
